The 3 Reasons
You'll Reorder

There's one step we take that no other sauce maker will. It costs us 90 extra days per batch. You'll taste why in the first drop.

  • 01 01

The Pepper Blend Nobody Else Uses

Ghost peppers + Carolina Reapers, fermented together. Most brands use one or the other. The combination changes everything.

  • 02 02

90 Days in Charred Oak Barrels

This is the step competitors skip. It adds a smoky depth that makes people ask "what IS that?" at every meal.

  • 03 03

    Small Batches Only (Never Mass-Produced)

Each batch makes just 500 bottles. When it's gone, you wait for the next one. That's why 98% of customers reorder.

Let's Talk
About It

One bottle lasts 3-4 weeks. That's 64 cents a day. You spend more than that on coffee. And you'll stop buying the 3-4 mediocre bottles you cycle through now — so it actually saves you money.

You set the level. Two drops = a warm, rich flavor. Five drops = full terror mode. Most people use it for the taste, not the pain. Too much? Full refund. No questions asked.

Full refund within 30 days. Keep the bottle. Out of 53,471 shipped, only 2% came back. But we'd rather you try risk-free than wonder "what if."

Most "premium" sauces are the same factory sauce in a nicer bottle. We ferment ghost peppers and reapers together, then age them 90 days in charred oak. Nobody else does this — it's slow and expensive. One drop and you'll know.

US orders ship free and arrive in 2-4 business days. International ships to 30+ countries in 7-12 days. Every bottle ships in a custom box — it also makes a killer gift.

Good. Now Here's What
This Is Really About.

Terror Sauce isn't real. This entire landing page is a demo. It was built from an empty folder in a single Claude Code conversation over one afternoon – iterating back and forth with three reusable skills that any team can install in 10 seconds.

It's not perfect. But that's the point: this is how far you can get with one person, one conversation, and the right skills loaded.

3 Skills Used in This Demo
landing-page-guide

Teaches AI proven conversion patterns from 300+ tested pages. You get a page that follows real best practices – not just pretty text, but the right structure, the right psychology, the right CTA placement.

frontend-design

Stops AI from producing generic "AI slop" interfaces. You get a page with a real design point of view – distinctive typography, intentional color, and visuals that don't look like every other AI-generated site.

nano-banana

Generates images from text prompts via OpenRouter. You get product shots, lifestyle photos, logos, portraits, and a favicon – without leaving the conversation.

Also In The Collection
code-review

Thorough, opinionated code review that finds real problems. Runs automated scans for duplicates, inconsistencies, complexity, and security patterns, then produces a prioritized report. Not used in this demo, but included in the collection.

How This Page Was Built
One conversation. One afternoon. Here's what actually happened.
  1. 1
Start with a photo and a single prompt
We dropped a photo of a competitor's hot sauce bottle into the conversation and asked for a full landing page. The /landing-page-guide skill took over: it generated the page structure following proven conversion patterns – transformation headline (not features), benefits as outcomes (not descriptions), testimonials grouped in 3s, problem agitation with loss aversion, FAQ as objection handling, and a risk-reversal guarantee. The /frontend-design skill then applied a dark luxury aesthetic.
Build a super converting landing page for a hot sauce product named "Terror Sauce". Use the /landing-page-guide skill for creating the structure and copy, then improve UI using the /frontend-design skill. Here is a photo of a sauce from a competitor. Let's keep the tech simple with HTML, CSS and JS.
  2. 2
Research real competitors, then beat them
The first version looked decent but generic. Claude fetched and analyzed 3 competitor websites (TRUFF, Fly By Jing, Heatonist) to understand what makes premium hot sauce brands work visually. Then /frontend-design used those insights to build something better: color-blocking sections inspired by Fly By Jing, the luxury-on-dark aesthetic from TRUFF, and the dramatic fire energy from Heatonist.
Find 2 or 3 competitor websites, analyze what makes them pop, then use the /frontend-design skill to destroy them.
  3. 3
    Generate all photography with AI
The /nano-banana skill generated 15+ images: a product bottle, a lifestyle drizzle action shot, a flaming skull mascot logo, 3 food photography cards, 6 reviewer portraits, a hero banner, and a favicon. We told Claude to iterate autonomously – try multiple versions and pick the best without asking for approval each time.
Use the /nano-banana skill to create stunning visuals of the bottle, people using it, or maybe even a mascot animal. Iterate a few tries and improve yourself without asking every time.
  4. 4
Replace cheap visuals with real photography
The benefit cards originally used emoji icons – they looked cheap next to the premium AI photography everywhere else. We regenerated them as food photos with /nano-banana (seared steak, raw ingredients, smoking pepper) and redesigned the cards with image headers that fade into the dark background.
The "Why People Switch" visuals look cheap and don't match the rest of the page. Improve that with /frontend-design and /nano-banana skills.
  5. 5
Fix what doesn't work, remove what can't be fixed
Multiple rounds of "this still isn't right" prompts. The skull logo floated disconnected in the hero – tried a brand lockup, still wrong, removed it entirely. The "Sound Familiar" section cycled through emoji icons, then numbered cards, then red gradient bars. The guarantee used a cheap clock emoji – replaced with a CSS shield. The key: short, direct feedback like "the logo is still misplaced" or "the guarantee badge looks cheap".
The logo is still misplaced. Either find a better solution or let's remove it.
  6. 6
    Polish copy for conversion
Re-ran /landing-page-guide to audit every word against its own rules. Tightened FAQ answers, added loss-aversion framing to the problem section, fixed inconsistent CTA button text, simplified reading level. The skill knows its own patterns – it caught things like missing price anchoring and weak FAQ headers that a human eye would skip.
Do a final improvement run with /landing-page-guide and make sure copy is on point and matches the stunning visuals.
  7. 7
    Make it readable
The dark theme was too dark. Text was hard to read, sub-text was tiny, sections blurred together. Multiple /frontend-design passes bumped all body text to minimum 0.65rem, increased contrast on secondary text, added warm ambient glows to sections, and put a dark radial backdrop behind the hero text so it reads clearly over the volcanic background.
Improve readability especially of the small sub texts. Also make sure they are visually nice and don't wrap badly.
  8. 8
    Audit conversion leaks
The /landing-page-guide skill audited the finished page and found 7 conversion leaks: no social proof near mid-page CTAs, price missing from buttons, no FAQ schema markup for SEO, guarantee badge too small, no price anchoring ("less than a lunch"), and CTA dead zones. We ran this audit twice – the second pass caught issues the first one missed.
Do a final improvement run with /landing-page-guide and /frontend-design skills combined together to achieve super powers.
  9. 9
    Compress, optimize, ship
Compressed all images from PNG to JPEG (15MB → 2.8MB), added lazy loading, preloaded the hero image, fixed horizontal overflow on mobile. The final page is a single HTML file with inline CSS/JS – no build step, no dependencies, no framework.

What We'd Do Next
This page is a demo, not a finished product. Here's what would make it better.
Sticky mobile CTA bar
A fixed bottom bar with the price and button that appears after scrolling past the hero. The single highest ROI change for mobile conversions.
Real product photography
AI images are good but not perfect (upside down logos, inconsistent bottles). A real 30 minute photo shoot would make the page feel 2x more premium.
Video hero
Replace the static banner with a 5 second looping slow motion pour video. Video heroes convert significantly better than static images.
Mobile first redesign
We built desktop first and added breakpoints. A proper mobile pass would redesign cards and CTAs for thumb friendly touch targets.
Actual checkout flow
The CTA buttons link to #order but there's no form. Even a simple email capture would make this functional and measurable.
Bundle and subscription options
Testing a 3 pack bundle or a "subscribe and save 15%" would increase average order value. Right now there's only one option.
Scroll triggered animations
The heat meter could fill as you scroll. The Scoville number could count up more dramatically. The bottle could rotate on scroll.
Social proof ticker
A subtle animated bar showing "Marco R. from Chicago just ordered" with real time purchase notifications. Adds urgency and social proof simultaneously.
